Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK’s cross streets is named in his honor. \n Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including:
\n •Emergency care 24/7
\n •Orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging technology
\n •Cardiovascular services
\n •Maternity care and pediatric services
\n •Ambulatory surgery center
\n •Imaging services
\n •Outpatient Rehabilitation Center
Summary
\nThis role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

\nHours : 1900-0730
\nSchedule: 6 shifts per two week pay period. Some weekends required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES \nHas effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS \nEducation
\nRequired: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school
\nPreferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
\nCertifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR, ACLS
