At CHRISTUS Surgery Center Alamo Heights, our Registered Nurse (RN) OR Circulator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional surgical care and ensuring a safe, positive experience for every patient. Serving as the patient's advocate throughout the perioperative journey, the RN collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and sterile environment, coordinating care across the multidisciplinary surgical team, and promoting outstanding clinical outcomes.

\nThe competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.
