Why Chick-fil-A White Plains?

Competitive Pay: Team Members start at $17 per hour, with an increase to $17.50 after 90 days. Candidates with full-time / flexible availability may qualify for $18+ per hour. Additional growth and pay opportunities are available through leadership roles.

Flexible Scheduling: We know you have other commitments, so let’s find the right shift for you. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays so you can always have a day off to spend with family and friends.

No Experience Necessary: We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who are eager to learn and serve others. We will teach you everything else you need to know.

Team Member Opportunities

Every Team Member plays an important role in helping Chick-fil-A White Plains win. During the application process, you will have the opportunity to tell us which area of the restaurant interests you most.

Front of House / Hospitality

Our Front of House Team Members create remarkable experiences for our guests through genuine hospitality. Responsibilities include greeting and serving guests, taking and fulfilling orders, working in the drive-thru, maintaining the dining room, and finding opportunities to brighten someone’s day.

Candidates should enjoy interacting with people, communicate effectively, pay attention to detail, and take pride in providing fast, accurate and friendly service.

Back of House / Kitchen

The kitchen team members are the backbone of our business, working across various stations in the back-of-house to prepare the delicious Chick-fil-A food that our customers love. Our staff works tirelessly as a team to make sure that our food is always of the highest quality, paying special attention to the details that allow us to serve our guests quickly and accurately. Our recipe for success starts with our kitchen team members and there are no shortcuts when it comes to following brand standards for excellence.

Candidates should enjoy working as part of a fast-paced team, be willing to learn new systems and procedures and take pride in the little details when it comes to preparing delicious food for our guests.

• Demonstrate genuine care and hospitality toward our guests and fellow Team Members.
• Work with urgency and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver excellence in your assigned area, whether serving our guests, preparing high-quality food, or caring for our restaurant and facilities.
• Pay attention to detail – quality, accuracy, cleanliness and speed of service are paramount.
• Complete checklists to ensure that quality, food safety, cleanliness and other applicable safety requirements are being met.
• Follow pathways systems and training methods for consistent success.
• Support the team wherever possible – always have each other’s back.
• Be willing to do whatever is necessary to help the team win. No job is too small.
• Treat the restaurant as if it were your home – avoid wastefulness and always be cleaning.
• Participate in daily huddles (meetings), foster positive communication and be accountable.
• Take direction, accept coaching and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Be willing to be challenged and open to growth. This job will be demanding but rewarding.

Team Member Requirements

We won’t hire just anybody. We are looking for talent.

Our Team Members must be at least 16 years old and legally allowed to work in New York.

Yes, we call them “Team Members” for a reason. You must be capable of working well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Support your coworkers with honor, dignity and respect.

You should also:

• Have the ability to take direction, accept feedback and respect leadership, rules and procedures.
• Possess outstanding initiative, people skills and a willingness to serve.
• Understand the meaning of genuine hospitality when it comes to taking care of our guests.
• Be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Be able to address and resolve conflicts quickly, make quick decisions and work under pressure in a high-volume restaurant.
• Be willing and able to be on your feet for extended periods of time, lift heavy boxes and supplies (50 lbs), and operate basic restaurant equipment and machinery.
