FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

The Packrunners Inc. runs FedEx Ground delivery routes out of Munster and is hiring drivers at $22 per hour. Pay is weekly on Friday, and routes start at 8:00 AM. Drivers earn an additional $1 per hour, for a total of $23 per hour, if they have no accidents within their first six months.

The Job

You’ll load and organize palletized packages at the self-loading terminal, then deliver them to homes and businesses on city residential and business routes. Routes cover 100 miles per day in company-provided box trucks and P1000s.

The work includes loading and organizing packages, lifting and carrying deliveries, and getting in and out of the vehicle during your route. Use GPS to navigate and complete deliveries accurately.

Compensation

• Starting pay $22 per hour
• Accident-free pay increase - Additional $1 per hour, for a total of $23 per hour, after the first six months with no accidents

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
• F endorsement required
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Lift packages up to 150 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Work in all weather conditions
• Use GPS to complete deliveries accurately

Schedule

Operations run Monday through Saturday, with alternating Saturdays required. Sunday availability is required during peak, typically for 4–6 weeks from late November into December. Routes start at 8:00 AM and continue until route completion. The average workday is 8 hours.
